Vancouver Festival of Lights 2017

Vancouver is just covered in fairy light exhibits, from Van Dusen to Bloedel to Capilano to Stanley Park. I only went to two of these. That was enough. The VanDusen Botanical Garden's Holiday Heights light festival was... well, actually worth the $20 price tag if you take into account the sheer size of the exhibit. It would be easy to spend hours walking around the huge space--as long you have earplugs in to avoid the terrible soundtrack! My other stop was a return to the Bloedel Conservatory to see the birds again at the Arctic Oasis! Most of the birds themselves aren't around for the light festival which is probably for the best but it's still a really warm way to spend a cold, icy night!
